About Me

Hi! I am a Licensed Counselor in the state of Missouri. I am a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S). While play is my primary method of connecting with people, it is not the only method of therapy I utilize. I do find that it breaks down everyone's walls!
My 20 years of experience as a counselor and doing state social work have primarily been spent treating children/adolescents. I have experience working with families and adults also.

I attended Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville to earn my B.S. in Psychology. I attended Lindenwood University to earn my M.A. in Professional Counseling, and M.A. in School Counseling. I love what I do, and have dedicated my life's work to helping everyone play, grow, and heal!
My Space…

to play, create…

 or to just explore.

My Approach
I use an eclectic therapeutic approach when I work with clients. This includes:

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
Child-Parent Relational Therapy
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy
Aut-Play Therapy
Play Therapy
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Trauma Informed practices
Dialectal Behavior Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

My Philosophy
I believe that all people should be treated fairly, and with compassion and understanding. I will travel alongside you and your family while we work to heal and grow. Giving others grace--to make mistakes, to be imperfect, to have space to learn--is one of the absolute cornerstones of my practice.
